Measuring principle:
The sensor operates according to the thermal mass flow principle , in which a tiny heating wire (MEMS chip) is cooled by the air flow. The change in temperature distribution is measured and converted into an electrical signal proportional to the air flow. This principle allows direct mass flow measurement , independent of pressure and temperature fluctuations in the ambient air.
